Composed primarily of aluminum (98.6%), manganese (1.0–1.5%), and trace copper (0.05–0.20%), this alloy offers enhanced mechanical properties compared to pure aluminum while retaining exceptional workability. It is widely used in applications requiring shaping, welding, or brazing, such as HVAC systems, chemical equipment, roofing, and automotive trim. Available in multiple tempers (e.g., H14, H18), the coil is ideal for environments exposed to moisture or mild chemicals. Its non-sparking nature and lightweight properties make it suitable for industrial and architectural uses.
